About the Perry County Port Authority
The Perry County Port Authority operates the Tell City Riverport and the Hoosier Southern Railroad in Southern Indiana. At Ohio River Mile 727, the Riverport provides bulk barge unloading, outdoor storage, and loadout to trucks or railcars. The railroad connects the port with Norfolk Southern at Lincoln City, Indiana.
Shippers can work with one contact at the Port Authority to plan a move from barge arrival through storage and outbound shipment. Foertsch Marine provides stevedoring services at the riverport.
